5A THSSB Teams of the Week – Feb 16

THSSB Team of the Week
Barbers Hill – The Lady Eagles had a strong showing with wins over ranked Liberty, Clear Springs, and Katy teams.

THSSB Runner-Up Team of the Week
Joshua – The Lady Owls went undefeated in the Comal ISD tourney, picking up quality wins along the way.
Flour Bluff – The Lady Hornets are 7-0 and knocked off two 5A top 20 teams.

THSSB Honorable Mention Team of the Week
Iowa Colony – The Pioneers are off to their best start in program history, sitting at 5-1 in just their 4th year as a program.
Lubbock Monterey – Monterey has cruised to a 6-0 start to 2026. THe Lady Plainsen doinated the Lubbock Tournament this past week.
Lake Creek – The defending champs look strong, taking down 6A #11 Conroe (2) and #9 Clear Springs.
Santa Fe – The Lady Indians looks good in week one, picking up a quality win over top 20 6A Wylie.
East View – The Patriots played a full slate of tough competition and picked up a win over top 20 PNG.
